I have to admit, after spending a few weeks away from San Antonio the wall of heat awaiting me as I departed from the airport baggage claim was not the welcome home I had hoped for. San Antonio, by almost any standard, is hot. According to the United States drought monitor we are a D4, “exceptional” drought region.
